Welcome to Providence Head of Site
Welcome to Providence
There are so many reasons to visit Providence, whether it is to visit family and friends or to explore the parks, café, land sales office, community centre, display village or to just enjoy one of our many events and activities. Whatever your reason, we welcome you and hope you enjoy your visit.
For those of you who have made Providence your home, we look forward to welcoming you into your new Providence community. Firstly, we have a welcome pack for you to come and collect from the Providence Centre. Secondly, we would like to invite you for dinner because we believe, there really is no better way to feel welcomed than an invitation to share a meal with some of your neighbours. To find out when the next dinner is scheduled and to book your seat please go to what’s on.
Our community development manager, Felicity Hill is here to help welcome and connect you to your new community, to help grow and deliver community events and programs and to foster community leaders and groups. You will find Felicity at the Providence Centre most days throughout the working week, so please, if you haven’t already, drop in and say hello. If you have any ideas, questions or suggestions in regard to anything community, art, business or environment Felicity would love to hear from you.
If you live at Providence you might like to join the commnity Facebook Group Providence, Ripley Community. It is a great way to connect with your neighbours, ask questions, provide feedback, share local information. It is a great way for us to work together to build this fabulous new community.
We are proud of the fact Providence is designed around the people who live here. It’s all about clever design and delivery, but we can’t do it without you. We need to truly understand who you are and in particular, your needs, interests and ideas.
Providence Community Room is our hub for community events and activities. You’ll find it at the Providence Land Sales and Community Centre on the corner of Amity Way and Providence Parade beside Splash’n’Play waterpark and adventure playground.
